WOW!  That's all I can say.  First, I was and am truly honored to have met and shot photos with Grand Master Choi.  I've seen him on so many magazine covers and I always thought, "I would love to shoot with him."  And it happened.  I still can't believe it happened.

To other parents that may be thinking about signing up the kids (or yourselves), come by and talk with these guys and you will see, as I did, they really surpass their competition in excellence.  This crew enjoy what they do and I see that in how they care for my two children and others.

Congratulations to all of the Surrey and Hampshire Choi Kwang Do Ladies, who took part in the Race for Life on Sunday 18th July in Portsmouth UK. The race is in aid of Cancer Research.

Some of the Ladies took part in the 10km race and some in the 5km. Everyone did really well and thanks to our Choi Kwang Do training we managed to achieve fantastic times.

So many things happpening in Choi Kwang Do its hard to keep track!! First off a very big congratulations and job well done to Master Herman and Master Stoddard on their recent promotions to 5th Dan!! Secondly I wanted to thank Mr. Stace Sanchez for coming all the way from Michigan to take pictures of the CKD students with Grandmaster Choi. Sounds like the CKD Business Seminar was a big success and look forward to the possibility of one in Michigan Soon!  From what I heard, it would really add to and help out our business management of our school.  Thank you to Sahjonim and Grandmaster P for arranging these seminars!  We have shaped our business practices based on Tommy Lee, Master Bruce, and Grandmaster P, who have ran seminars in the past!  Thank you to those who have helped Choi Kwang Do become the martial art and a business that can people (like me) live their dream of running a martial art school and living a positive and healthy lifestyle!  I admit that it seems like I am always busy, but it is worth it!  There is nothing that I'd rather do!  PIL SUHNG!

I've been getting quite a few questions on how to do the sliding backwards rear leg kicks for 3rd Dan and above. For side, swing, rev swing, twisting, you must turn into a twisting stance first, then chamber and start the slide when you extend the kick, stopping the slide at impact. On rear leg sliding backwards kicks, you land with the kicking leg in front after the kick is completed.

hi, my wife and i and my 9 year old son daniel joined hendon ckd in  late may and we love it . daniel has a disability which makes some of the training a bit difficult for him,but mr dean ali is fantastic and very patient and obviously has a gift with teaching.we get good excercise from this and discipline to which i think personally improves our family life.we are all pleasantly suprised as to how quickly we have progressed and i think this is because of the positive attitude given by mr dean ali. aswell as adults classes i join in with the childrens classes on thurs and sat i hope this is some help to dean ali .thank you very much to choi kwang do and hendon ckd. pil-suhng

Pil Suhng!! This past weekend we had a Choi Kwang Do field trip to Sports-O-Rama in Marietta. The facility was filled with a basketball court, batting cages, an indoor soccer field, arcade, and much more!! Everyone had a blast and it was great to see all the students and instructors having such a good time! I look forward to our next trip!!

Pil Suhng!! I wanted to send a big thank you to Sahjonim for the awesome and inspiring training session this past Saturday. The thing I enjoy most about the training sessions besides the comradery is that we always learn something new or learn a new way to apply a punch or kick. This time we went over double, consecutive, and double consecutive techniques! The training was fantastic and I am more pumped than ever for Korea!! 3 months 15 days and counting!!!

We all had a great grading on Hayling Island yesterday with Hampshire Choi Kwang Do (UK). Although the school was in great hands with help from the C.Is, H.Is and A.Is - its always good to see Mr & Mrs Bicknell and their sons back from their holiday :o)

In the name of the South american Choi Kwang Do  instructors team I would like to welcome to our organization Grand Master Diego H. Osorio Jimenez from Colombia and Mr. Daniel Grimm from Germany.
